Terms & Conditions
By accessing OcheVault and entering any draw, you agree to the following terms. Last updated: March 2026.
Eligibility
- You must be aged 18 or over to enter any draw on OcheVault.
- Entries are open to UK residents only unless otherwise stated on the specific draw page.
- Employees and directors of OcheVault Ltd., or their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
- By entering a draw, you confirm you meet all eligibility requirements.
Entry & Payment
- Each ticket purchase represents a single entry. Entry fees are clearly displayed on each draw page.
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Card payments and bank transfers are accepted.
- Entries are confirmed once payment is received and verified. Your tickets will appear in your Vault within 5 minutes.
- All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Entry fees are non-refundable once a draw has launched.
- Promo codes, where applicable, are single-use per account and cannot be combined.
Skill-Based Competitions
OcheVault operates prize competitions, not lotteries. This distinction is important:
- All draws incorporate a skill-based element in their entry process as required by UK law.
- Prize competitions of this nature are entirely exempt from the Gambling Act 2005.
- No gambling licence is required, and no regulatory restrictions apply to participants.
- The skill question ensures this service does not constitute a "lottery" under UK law.
Draw Mechanics & Fairness
- Winners are selected using a cryptographically verified random number generator (RNG).
- Each draw closes either when the timer expires or when the maximum ticket count is reached — whichever comes first.
- If a draw's maximum entry count is not reached, the draw still proceeds with all participating tickets.
- Draw results are published on the Past Winners page within 24 hours of close.
- OcheVault reserves the right to cancel a draw in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, all entry fees will be refunded in full.
Prizes
- All prizes are as described on the relevant draw page. Photographs are for illustrative purposes.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Winners are contacted via the email address used to register within 48 hours of the draw closing.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, OcheVault reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
- Physical prizes are dispatched within 5 working days via tracked delivery to a UK address.
- All memorabilia items include a Certificate of Authenticity unless stated otherwise.
Charity & Fund Distribution
- 20% of all entry fee revenue is donated to OcheVault's designated charity partners (currently the Cure ADOA Foundation). An additional 10% is reinvested into free prize draws for platform users.
- The remaining 70% covers platform operations: prize sourcing, authentication, shipping, payment processing, and technology costs.
- OcheVault publishes a live charity total on the homepage. This is updated regularly.
- OcheVault is not a registered charity. Charitable donations are made directly to partner organisations.
Accounts & Data
- You may only hold one OcheVault account per person.
- Your account is personal to you and must not be shared or transferred.
- OcheVault reserves the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
- We store your email address and purchase history securely. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Limitation of Liability
- OcheVault Ltd. is not liable for any technical errors, downtime, or data loss beyond its reasonable control.
- Entry into any draw is made at the entrant's own risk.
- OcheVault's total liability to any entrant shall not exceed the entry fee paid for the relevant draw.
- Nothing in these terms shall limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Privacy Policy
OcheVault Ltd. takes your privacy seriously. This section explains how we collect and use your data.
- Data we collect: Email address, username, phone number (optional), purchase history, and profile picture (optional).
- How we use it: To administer your account, process entries, contact winners, and send service communications.
- Payment data: We do not store card credentials. Payments are processed directly by Stripe.
- Marketing: We will only send marketing emails if you have opted in. You may unsubscribe at any time.
- Third parties: We share data with Stripe (payment processing) and Supabase (secure cloud database). No other third-party sharing occurs.
- Your rights: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at contact@ochevault.com.
- Cookies: We use essential session cookies only. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
- Data is stored securely in the UK/EU. We are compliant with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of OcheVault following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
